Alinco DJ-G7T Triple-Band Transceiver

New from Alinco is the DJ-G7T Triple-Band Transceiver. It works on 2m , 70cm and 23cm bands.
It can receive from 531Khz-1300Mhz in AM/FM and WFM.
Some features: Rain proof (not water proof), true dual-band receive, Li-Ion battery, other then that it has what you might expect from your typical hand-held radio.

Ameritron ALS-1300 amplifier

Ameritron ALS-1300, a 1200 Watt amplifier. Works from 160-15 meters bands (1.8-22 Mhz). It needs 50Vdc for power it which can be supploed by the ALS-1300PS. Uses 8 TMOS-FET 50v transistors, forced cooling (fan), the power supply likes 250vac but can go on 120vac if low power if used on full wave transmisstion (cw/rtty).

Just the other day on the FCC, the Jetstream JT220M, a 220Mhz Mobile Radio, for amateur radio use.

    I spoke with the “importer”, www.jetstream-USA.com The price will be around $200-$250 street price, and with some luck these rigs will be available come Dayton Hamvention. At this time there were no definite plans for other Jetstream radio’s, but they were looking at some possibilities.

ICOM IC-7600 FCC accepted

The Icom IC-7600 was FCC accepted today. Icom’s latest HF/50Mhz transceiver.
Some of the features include; 100 watt transmitter, front and rear USB ports (keyboard, computer control) and build in RTTY and PSK31 encoder/decoder. The expected pricetag will be around $4000.
