RadioShack PRO-107 iScan Scanner

The new RadioShack PRO-107 iScan Scanner made by GRE.

So what is iScan? The iScan scanner is computer programmable scanner which contains the complete RadioReference database on an SD card.


Some other cool feature:

  • Multi-Trunking (EDACS, Motorola, LTR)
  • SAME Weather Alert
  • Signal Stalker II
  • Signal Strength Meter
  • 25-50mhz, 108-512mhz, 764-1300mhz (minus cellphone gaps)
  • All this in a small package (127 x 60 x 27 mm and 190g) plus the firmware and library are upgradeable.

    RadioShack PRO-405 by GRE

    Another RadioShack desktop scanner, the PRO-405.

    Runs from 29-512 Mhz, with gaps, NO MIL-AIR and NO Trunking. But it does have NOAA weather alert, and FM broadcast receive, which makes this a good severe weather radio. Except it doesn’t seem to run on batteries.

    Radioshack PRO-135 Handheld Scanner through FCC

    Today the PRO-135 handheld scanner passed through the FCC.
    This non-trunking scanner made by Uniden can store 200 channels, and has a frequency range of 25-512mhz with some gaps in the broadcast bands.

    Uniden Scanner FCC approved as RadioShack Pro-160

    Yet another scanner for the RadioShack lineup, this time the Pro-160 made by Uniden.

    This Mobile/Desktop scanner has a range of roughly 25-1300 Mhz, with the usual gaps. It’s trunking scanner that does several flavours of Motorola, Edacs and LTR. Futhermore is contains the to be expected features, including Signal Stalker I and subtone decoding.
