AOR SR2000A – Consumer Edition

Approved by the FCC today is the AOR SR2000A FFT Frequency Monitor ‘Consumer Edition’ which has the cellular band blocked.

This means regular consumers in the US can now buy an own the SR2000A at a hefty pricetag of about $3499.

For those of you not familiar with this receiver, it has a frequency range of 25-3000mhz (minus cellular) in AM/NFM/WMF. Please check out the AOR Japan SR2000 website for more info.

    Uniden Scanner FCC approved as RadioShack Pro-160

    Yet another scanner for the RadioShack lineup, this time the Pro-160 made by Uniden.

    This Mobile/Desktop scanner has a range of roughly 25-1300 Mhz, with the usual gaps. It’s trunking scanner that does several flavours of Motorola, Edacs and LTR. Futhermore is contains the to be expected features, including Signal Stalker I and subtone decoding.

    Today the GRECOM PSR-600 (0716) got approved by the FCC, a new Advanced Digital Base/Mobile scanner with Object Orientated Interface.

Twenty one V-Scanner Folders are provided, each capable of storing over 1,800 objects. Total memory capacity of main memory combined with V-Scanners is over 37,800 objects!
