Yaesu VL-2000 and VP-2000 HF/50 Linear Amplifier

1500 watts, that's how much this new amplifier produces. The VL-2000 from Yaesu.

But to get the full 1500 watts, this amplifier wants 48 volts, and specifically from the VP-2000 matching power supply which in it's turn prefers 240 volts. But if you only have 120 volts to give, you'll still get 500 watts.

Well, here it is then. Then Yaesu VX-8GR.

Just like the VX-8R but now it has the GPS build in, but without bluetooth.

The new Yaesu FTM-350 mobile dual-band tranceiver. Besides being able to transmit on 144 Mhz. and 430 Mhz. it also does 220 Mhz. and receives from 500 Khz. to 1000 Mhz. with some gaps.

This radio has a build-in APRS TNC, and an optional GPS receiver. And ton of other features.

Yaesu BH-1 BlueTooth headset for FTM-10R

Here it is, the long awaited BlueTooth headset for the Yaesu FTM-10.

Contains a PTT button on the side, and Volume Up and Down buttons on the edges. Also on there are a power switch and a earphone jack for optional FEP-4, which will make listening to stereo broadcasts or external stereo sources, stereo in your ears.

To get this headset to work on your FTM-10R, you need a BU-1 (Bluetooth adapter) and the CAB-1 (Charger Sleeve for the BH-1). If you feel like buying two complete test, you can use the intercom feature, a good description of the possibilities can be found here.

New Yaesu FT-950

Finally some more new stuff from Vertex, this time the FT-950.

Yaesu VX-3R, latest in new Yaesu line-up

After the FTM-10R and FT-450 now Yaesu is completing there new look with the VX-3R a multiband micro-miniature transceiver.

The succesor to the similar VX-2R with mostly the same features;

1.5 watt output on VHF, 1 watt on UHF

Wide band receiver including 1.8-30 mhz

1000 ma 3.7v Li-Ion battery

The Sub-RX feature allows you listen you AM or FM radio broadcast while monitor a HAM frequency, and you can talk on it by hitting the PTT button.

There also is a build-in frequency (channel) counter, for receiving nearby signals. They will we displayed on the screen, and written to a special memory group.

Another view at the new Vertex look with larges dials as seen in the previous releases this year.

New Yaesu FT-450

A few days ago I wrote about the new Yaesu FTM-10R, now here's the FT-450.

A HF radio that does 160-6 meter all-mode.

I think it looks somewhat like the FTM-10r, well at least the style. Now they just need a handheld radio to complete the collection.
