RadioShack Pro-162 Scanner
This mysterious device showed up on the FCC website today, it's the PRO-162 by Uniden.
A 2000 channel triple-trunking scanner, made for RadioShack.
At first look it's nothing new, 25-1300mhz range with the usual gaps. EDACS, Motorola and LTR trunking. Weather Alert, Signal Stalker.
There was also a mention in the manual it would interface with the PRO-433. I'm not sure how it compares to the PRO-528.

New Yaesu FT-450
A few days ago I wrote about the new Yaesu FTM-10R, now here's the FT-450.
A HF radio that does 160-6 meter all-mode.
I think it looks somewhat like the FTM-10r, well at least the style. Now they just need a handheld radio to complete the collection.

W00T
I just discovered WOOT. It's the perfect impuls buy site!
They have a daily special, and usually a good deal that you can buy untill it sells out.
Every day at midnight WOOT posts a new deal, and there's quite a community out there they wait patiently for midnight (central time) to roll around what else they can spend there money on again.
Some things you might find: Computers and accesories, Pulsar Watches, Roomba vacuums, DVD recorders.
You can actually find a feed further down the page of the current special.
W00T stands for We Own the Other Team!
So be prepared to be w00ted and pwned! There are some good deals to be had!
